Freemason's Quarterly Review

By William Wilcockson

Published in 1834, the Freemason's Quarterly Review marked an explosion of Freemasonic literature in Britain, Having recently celebrated its centennial anniversary, Freemasonry was flourishing in the British Empire at this time and was undergoing a renewal of interest following the publication of Dr. George Oliver's works on Freemasonry a few years earlier. While only four issues of the Freemason's Quarterly Review survive they offer a fascinating look into Freemasonry as it was nearly 200 years ago.
