Freemasonry is the practice of using ritual and symbolism to produce inspiration in the human mind. Music is a key tool of the Masonic Ritual oprocess and serves to harmonize the mind of the participant in Masonic ritual with the lofty purpose to which the Lodges of the Craft are dedicated. Music brings the higher mind to bear upon the world and allows the human consciousness to expand beyond its usual borders.
