First published in 1793 by the London printing house of Scatcherd and Whitaker, The Freemason's Magazine was a Masonic periodical that circulated in Enlgand at the turn of the 19th century. More than two centuries have elapsed since its first printing and yet The Freemason's Magazine still stands as a testament to the extraordinary zeal with which Freemasonry was received by the English and the deep erudition that was applied to its studies. Its 50 extant issues have here been published that glimpse into early Freemasonry may be shared by all.
